Exotiques pour un jour

Posted by Tawny

(All her poses are of her own creation, she makes my job easy as I just sit back and snap the camera. This is how she perceives herself in alien form;)

Love the drool dripping off her chin from sticking out her tongue for so long. Pam, you're right, she's never in a full outfit... what happened to all her tops? I swear we start the day dressed, for the first half hour at least;) Elle aime bien à se déshabiller .... Souvent tout nue!

Catching UP

Posted by Tawny

I'm hoping to someday print this blog out into a photo album using one of those genius programs that converts it all for you. It's the only thing that will ever count as "scrap-booking" or "journaling" for me. I've tried the original forms of those two... miserably failed! So thank the skies this modern form of history keeping has been created;) I'm posting a bunch of pics really quickly and randomly to catch up on the summer, making sure they make it in the future scrapbook.
Truest form of Joy in life!

Caught one of those silly moments in time...
This was just another summer day, she was really feeling the dance groove.
I love to sit back and watch what she comes up with using her own creative mind.
She'll make a good Tahitian dancer, she'll make her mama proud:)

At the new Highland Splash Park. She's drop dead darling out there.

Another Summer day, we literally spent the majority of our time in swim suits at one place or another, even just in the back yard with the water running and the sun shining. I'm dreading the cold weather cause that means getting fully dressed again, I love the freedom of the warmth!

This is the look Teya gives when she's really excited about somthing... or feigning excitement... I lovingly refer to it as her "possessed stare."

Teya rêves d'avoir des "bee-boos" déjà.

Posted by Tawny

Teya calls the bumps on a woman's frontal area "bee-boos." It was created when she was first learning to talk & she said the word boobies dyslexic.... and we've let the name stick. Anyone who knows Teya knows she has a powerful admiration for bee-boos, especially mine. I attribute this to her outstanding memory; she still talks about events we did when she was ONE year old! Anyway, wether it's a fond memory or just an appreciation for beautiful things, she really likes them and is eagerly anticipating the day when she's blessed with her own pair;) I know this because she tells me so.

"Someday, when I'm bigger bigger like you, I will have bee-boos too! Like this, BOOP! (makes a little gesture)"

She got tired of waiting and found a simple, though temporary, solution.
I opened our closed doors to find her like this. She used folded socks;)
The reason I think her memory is a powerful thing; More acute than most peoples.
It was really sweet though, she was loving her baby and, true to Teya form, nurtured and cared for her so tenderly.
Teya Cheri, you make me laugh AND you make me proud. You never cease to entertain and to melt my heart;)

Kara's Wedding

Posted by Tawny

My little sister Kara was married a couple months ago to the dashing Todd Anderson. I'll leave the pictures to tell the story. I put mainly pictures of Teya & I, as this is our blog, and will add a link to Kara's blog because her post best covers the rest of the ceremony and celebration without me having to duplicate posting all those pics. It's long but lovely, enjoy;)
Moment of truth exiting the Temple now Sealed for Eternity.

There's just gotta be a shot where all the bridesmaids are flashing their legs, only I'm wondering where's the spicey attitudes to match the pose??
The waiting wall... Teya striking a pose of her own accord for the camera.

Girly
Manly
Stratton.... Bubba Stratton!
You'd like a gigantic Lolly that will stain your dress, hands, give you cavities, and stickify your hair? Oh... but it will keep you happy for hours on end.... SURE!
Tout le monde
This is the Bride & Groom's first dance and Teya oh so sweetly asked to be a part of it. She was standing at their heels staring up in awe, so they let her have a few moments too.
Can you see the sisterly resemblance between these two? I don't know what was going on, but something frightening I assume.

Jessica looks really scared too, what's spooking everyone here?!
Above are my Stratton Grandparents, and below are my Smith Grandparents.

Sad & Bored are we posers.

A very handsome shot of my father!
Teya wanted so bad to dance with a Prince, she kept asking me if she could. Surely there was one around with all these nicely dressed young men. A friend stepped in to make her little girl dreams come true. She was on a cloud!
The reason I'm in all the dancing pictures? Because I was the only one out there gettin' down!!

This cracks me up... Todd's checking his watch with that expression on his face;) "This thing over yet, isn't it time to go?"
Extreme opposites right here: The girls go crazy diving for the bouquet...
...and the boys all stand perfectly still hoping the garter doesn't hit or come anywhere near them. It lands by the tiny fellow,
so we all took the liberty of stuffing it in Brennan's hands. He's so thrilled to have this new bestowal of next marriage rights!
And they're off in a flurry of bubbles.

Meet the ANDERSONS! (her blog post http://theandersonstory.blogspot.com/2009/07/wedding.html)

In case you were wondering, her reception was held at my Father's new reception center. He built it from the concept to the very last stone & lighting fixture. When I say he's a self made man, that's no understatement. The website is www.hgardens.com and there is a reception center link at the top.
