Un effrayant mois dans la pire des façons!

Teya learns about the band-aid the day before this picture is taken: I fixed an owe on her foot. The next day she gets hurt again... five minutes later I find her with a great big band-aid on her leg. She did it all by herself too, how did she know it would stick? Wonderful usage Teya!

Still working on that nose-picking habit.

Concentrate, must lather evenly...

ELMO & ABBY Story Time at the bookstore. After eating cookies, coloring, & listening to Elmo read a story, we finally got to meet them! But not before a long wait in the line... you see her face? It says it all...

But it was all worth it to see her interact with the characters. She was thrilled to be able to talk to & hug them. She even knelt beside them after the picture planning on hanging out and playing for a while. So the attendants let her sit there for a bit since she was SO cute about it! I think they were surprised since most kids we watched were either stiff or terrified to meet Elmo.

A night on the town with Gma Coco & Gpa Dimples. Do kids like these little rinky-dink horse rides, or are we just fools lured into giving a dollars worth of quarters to see our cutie smile for a 45 second ride? I take the latter.

An impromptu Tea Party at Ikea while we were picking out Teya's new big-girl-bed, an early birthday gift from her Grandma Coco and Grandpa Dimples. I'm thinking this craft table set is going to be her Christmas gift this year...

Yeah! You have disappeared off the face of the Earth and I MISS YOU! I'm sorry you're having a hard month. I can't imagine what your family has gone through with moving that much in such a short time. You always have such a good attitude and a great smile on your face, though, no matter what is going on in your life. And yes, that picture of Teya with Elmo is adorable!!!

Oh I love every single picture! Teya is so funny. Her face in the picture where she is waiting in line made me laugh out loud :) And her bandaid was awesome!
I seriously hope this is your last move for a really long time... unless you move back to Utah ;)... and that you guys can settle in to a rhythm. And hopefully you can start getting out more too, I go crazy after too long at home. I didn't know your renters were being dumb. You always strive to have such a good attitude despite the challenges that come along in your life. Your family really is so awesome totally is a source of joy in the hard times. Seriously I cant even take it, Tawny hands down you have the most gorgeous little girl ever! And come on, does it get any better with the pad on the leg!!!!! That needs to be framed and on your mantle! Or better yet your xmas cards! To answer your question-- we will have to chat about politics via email for sure, but just a quick note, having him away as hard as it is I know that he is making the sacrifice because we believe so strongly in the fight that he is fighting, we know that he has a PURPOSE being there, and as hard as times get I tell myself that all the time. Americans have a hard time waiting for anything and granted this war has gone on for what seems like an extremely long time, but we must remember change doesn't happen overnight or even in 7 years and we ARE MAKING PROGRESS!!!! Just take a look back at history and you will see how long it takes to fight wars, we can chat about this later like you said, but my point was that even experiencing the sacrifice first hand, I know without a doubt that we need to be there doing the job, defending and protecting our country. PHEW! Oh and Obama scares me! :)
